Pancake Day!

Like the majority of people in the country, on Tuesday, I ate pancakes. Pancake Day sure does make a normal, dull Tuesday slightly sweeter doesn't it? 

Although I am a believer in eating pancakes any day, at any given time of the year, there are many people out there that only eat them once a year. How they manage this I'm not too sure, but lets hope they at least go back for seconds. 

No recipe here as I used mine for Perfect Pancakes.(And who really doesn't know how to make pancakes?) I made them with caramelised bananas and blueberries to make 'em extra yummy for breakfast time before work. Plus it counts as 1 of my 5 a day, right? The whole lot was them drowned in syrup to make for a mighty start to my Tuesday morning.

After work I couldn't resist just sneaking in a few more pancakes at dinner time, but mixed it up and went for crepes, rather than big ole American stylies. Unfortunately, I got no pictures as I ate them all far too quick, but filled them with the obligatory lemon and sugar or Nutella. I also recently discovered Lotus spread, I'm late to the game on this one but super glad I finaly across this stuff. It's good on/in anything so was obviously amaze in my crepes too!
